Reviews about The Hollies Surgery
- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Unfortunately the Hollies is extremely over run. The last 4 occasions that I have called up in order to book an emergency appointment I have been told that they are completely over booked and that i will have to ring the following day at 9am in order to book an emergency appointment. On once occasion I called up with the intentions of booking an emergency appointment only to be told that the next appointment available would be in 3 days time. On 3 separate occasions i have now had to rely on the nhs 111 service in order to be seen about the emergency. The doctors at this surgery seem as if they are barely listening to you, and are more concerned in swiftly moving the patients on rather than help me with my issue. I am now at the point where id rather be extremely ill instead of going through the motions of calling to book an appointment, wait 15 minutes to speak to someone to then be told ill have to call back at 9am tomorrow morning. Back in December i was suffering from an illness and was in desperate need of attention, the Hollies told me I wouldnt be able to get an appointment until after christmas, I was phoning around the 22nd of December. I explained my issues and was told there was nothing i could do. Without me asking my mother called and got me an appointment and i was seen by a doctor within the hour. I have only ever been to the hollies surgery, i have never been to any other practice. for 24 years my experiences have always left me with the feeling of being let down, and that the doctors never seemed to want to help, its easier for them to sign over some prescription and send me on my way. My opinion of this surgery is that of abject woefulness. Today i called in need of an emergency appointment, i was denied. I should not have to rely on the nhs 111 hotline, wait until 6pm and eventually wind up at southend or basildon hospital at 10pm every time I need an appointment. The nhs 111 hotline was not designed to deal with the overflow from the hollies.by Stefan Turner-PowellApril 13, 2017
- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Went to them today to have one of my ear syringed by a nurse, the nurse I saw hurt my ear and has caused me pain. I am not happy with the half an hour I had to wait; not to mention my ear isn't even clear.by Alex FordMarch 18, 2017
